Sometimes I think we forget how awesome Emporia is. This morning at the National conference (in Birmingham) we ran into a Main Street Director from Philadelphia, and when we said we were from Emporia, KS - he replies “oh yeah, Emporia- I have heard about that place”….Philadelphia! We should all be proud of that 👏❤️😄

YOU ARE VERY LUCKY!!! Our village doesn't even have a downtown or a Main Street. Kinda pathetic. . . (We do have one shopping "strip" that has a grocery store, pet shop, pizza hut, tax guys, Goodwill, etc. AND there are some good places to eat around here.
